Demon's raids

"What the HELL is that!" Bex exclaimed as she watched the creature slowly heading down to help Sin back up, so if they needed to they could run. "I think maybe this was not such a good idea."

"That's...my father.."Sin said sadly looking at the body"But he died on a stake in the middle of the village,and was burnt by the villagers!"

The hand of the creature suddenly grabbed Bex's ankle with a weak grip
"Hel..."A faint voice emanated from the body"-p me.."

Bex was stunned and could barely move.
"I..I.. I can't... I don't know how..." She said to the remains.
She had seen many things on her travels but creepy things... This would be on top of the list. She did not know what to do if to shake it off or not it had her stunned.

"Father,how are you still alive?"Sin asked
"After all these years,i never gave you your birthday present"He replied getting up slowly"I couldnt die knowing my son would never find out the truth"

"Truth? Its unnatural for a human to come back never mind that a demon alone to wait this long. It seems you where much loved Sin." Bex said as she watched the corpse get up sowily have taken a few steps back.

Sin's father took a small box that was hidden under several other boxes and gave it to Sin
"This is your present son"He said and then took a breath"I hope your prepared for this"

"ehh... What is that?" Bex asked

The box contained a letter with pictures of his parents and a map included
"And the truth?"Sin asked
"The truth..."Sin's father began"The village was possessed by demons ever since out arrival,weak at first but taking control of them quickly"Sin's father sighed"We were classed as traitors to mankind and demonkind by the demons so we were killed,but the Mayor had other plans for me,before i died in the fire he locked me up here and tortured me concerning your location.needless to say i didnt say anything and i remained here"

"Oh my god.."Sin changed in a fit of anger

"He will pay!!"

The sudden change stunned Bex and caused a state of panic course through her. Even though she knew it was Sin it still freaked her out to see such a creature transmute so quickly before her. Before she knew she was back outside away from the basement. She felt bad about running away but she was in so much shock she could not help herself.
She collapsed on her knees and hands just outside the house trying to get to grips with the creature she had just seen.

A man approached the house with a sword on his shoulder
"Whats the matter?"The man asked Bex as he looked at the house behind her

Sin chased after her and was running up the stairs

Bex picked herself up standing alert after hearing the voice.
"Ehhhhh... Nothing." She said blatantly covering up something, but she jumped backwards. "Who are... or rather what are you?"
She calmed down a little from her jumpy stage and just sighed.
"Things are starting to get noisy it seems and Chiks just happens to be away." She sighed once more.

"I'm human"The man said"I am not some foul...Demon!"
The man had spotted Sin coming out of the house with great speed towards Bex
"Stand behind me"The man said readying his blade"I shall slay this monster so no harm comes to you"

Bex looked behind her seeing him come running up. Part of her wanted to move out the way but the other half was telling her to stand her ground.
"No its fine. He is a friend! He won't hurt us! Please just put the blade down... Trust me... Well not like we just met, but please do." She almost was begging him to but his blade down.

"I see..this demon has tricked you"The man said and ran towards Sin with his sword"By the power of Zenith!"
Sin saw the man coming towards him and leaped backwards using his strong metal feet to avoid him and landed on the roof of the Mayor's house
"What are you doing?"Sin asked

"He has ticked no one!!!!" Bex yelled after him. "You must not! Please I know he looks it but he is not evil and he has not tricked me in anyway otherwise why would I have been able to run? I was shocked I admit that, but he did nothing to trick or show otherwise."
Clouds over head started to stir.
"Please just... STOP!!!!" Bex cried out as a bolt of lighting struck down just beyond the village and rain started to pour heavy after thunder cracked a load noise above them, as lighting continued to light up the sky.

"You are beyond recovery from this demon's trickery"The man said"I am sorry,but I must cleanse you of this evil"
The man turned towards Bex and started to run towards her his blade in front of him

Sin leaped from the roof towards the man with his arms wide,ready to cause some serious damage

"Please NO!" Bex called out, as she closed her eyes in anticipation of the blow.
Before he could get any closer something gripped hold of the man's blade and threw it along with the man across the village.

The man got up quickly and looked around
"Coward!"He called to the unknown challenger"Face me like a man!"

Sin landed in front of Bex and transformed back to his human form
"I'm so sorry"Sin said"Are you ok?"

"I am fine... But I am sorry I should not have run of like that..." She apologized, before looking around seeing the man call out. "It seems Chiks is not happy."

"Man? Me? You have to be joking me." A voice came with no clear indercation from where it was coming from.

"...Who is that"Sin asked as he started walking over to the Mayor's House,scared by the entity

"I don't care what you are"The man called out"All creatures have honor,even demons and murderers"

"Stay still!" Bex told Sin. "As long as you don't upset him you will be ok."

"Demons? Honor? What kind of demons do you hang around?" It chuffed. "But touch the girl and you will find out a fate worse then death."

"I live a fate worse than one you can give me"The man's eyes glowed red and he grabbed his sword"Fight me,or I'll fight them coward"

"Human you know nothing of what waits beyond your miserable life. Yet here you are forcing that on others. Typical human. Seeing everything the same way. You lost something by your own fault and now your taking it out on others causing them pain rather then that what caused it." The voice seemed almost distused. "Why would I want to fight someone who does not even think about his own actions. One that fails again and again to find what he is after. You would rather waste you effort fighting us rather then those that caused your pain. What a waste."
"Chiks is it..."
"QUITE! You don't seem to realize the position your in once again. Do you? I guess we have to once again make you see sense!" Chik's voice sounded around the village none to pleased.
"Im sorry..." Bex cowered a little stepping back.
"Good girl. Now remain where you are till I say otherwise." He said before his form materialized in the middle of the distance between Sin, Bex and the man. He just looked like a normal human but his gaze was cold and dead as he looked at the man. "No what do you intend to do?"

"I intend to kill you"The man replied"I require the heart of a powerful demon to open the gate,and you fit that role perfectly"The man looked straight at Chik's with cold blue eyes rather than glowing red"My name is Zenith,and i see you for what you truly are as does Lazarus"

Sin had disappeared back into the house,to stay with his father rather than watch the soon to happen fight

"Now you see we have a bit of a problem here. You can fight me as much as you want but only my soul presence exists in this world. As soon as you destroy this shell I can easily find another and another and another till you run tried of it. Even without a shell I could fight you but I have an interesting piece of information you may like." Chiks told him. "Just so you are aware this information I won't give to you for free, but if you listen I can offer you a proposition."
